Question on switching to halo headlights

How difficult is it to switch from my stock 08 head lights to a pair of halo headlights?

What kind of tools and wiring is needed to make this happen?

Hey Brandon,
I just swapped out the stock headlights to halos in my 2010 GT. Installation was really easy, but you need to take your time and have a gentle touch (the front fascia is all plastic). Tools are pretty standard, 8mm, 7mm, 5mm sockets (YMMV), screw driver. You're probably going to want a very large blanket to put the fascia on, too.

Wiring was simple, too. They have these clip-on splicers that do all of the work for you.

In the end, if you have even a small amount of mechanical aptitude and take your time, you should have no problem installing these.

It's really worth it, too. Once they're installed, you won't regret it! :winks

P.S. Here's my thread with some more info:

Its not hard at all :bigthumbsup
I did it a while back ago, I switched to the Raxium 2010 style
headlights with CCFL halos.

The headlight itself just plugs into the stock headlight pigtail.
While the halos have a posi(red) wire and a (neg/ground) blk wire,
that you can just splice into your running lights...very easy.
Okay sounds good, thanks I will let you know how it goes once I do them.
