Hey guys,
I'm in tight situation.... I found a 1976 cobra II white/Blue stripes with everything original the guy wants $500.00 bucks for it and i don't know if I should buy it or not.... my situation right now is that i already have 2 foxbody mustangs and I just wanna know what you guys think I should do...

The cobra-havent tried starting it yet, very rusty, needs quarter pannels, floors are rotten... I work in a body shop so I know all the things it needs LOTS OF WORK + MONEY, my question to you is: is it worth it??? are these cars worth anything restored??

Restored the car will bring $5000-10000 on Ebay depending on what all you do to it.

Problem with that is, to do a good restoration, you may end up putting that much into it.

A Mustang II is rarely a quick-turnaround investment like a 64-73, however, as their value has steadily increased over the last few years, it could turn into a good long-term investment you could enjoy driving for a few years.

Then again... Mustang IIs have a funny way of getting people excited, I've been offered $2500 for my '76 Ghia... I paid $1000 for it, $3000 would've bought it from me, lol.

I would buy it. Make a good project for you and if you ever want to sell it you could surely make a few bucks.
