When putting in new gears you will most likely need a bearing kit. I did with mine.
Wish some moderator would make a sticky out of one of the HUNDREDS of threads that have been posted on here with regard to what's needed for a gear swap...

Don't order until Friday. We have big sales starting that day.
I wish someone would put up a thread that says "reading other threads is optional".

i looked some of the threads but iam still a bit confused , in americanmuscle . com when buying gears it states you should have the 8.8in Rear Gear Pinion Bearing , does the one offered in the combo already has this? or should i order it separately?
If you car has low miles, say under 30,000 miles, then buy the gears you want 3.55, 3.73, etc... and the install kit at American Muscle, Mustang Rear End Installation Kit F8.8IK - Free Shipping!

You do not have to buy new bearings, you can re-use the stock ones. With more miles, buy new bearings.
