That totally sucks. Thankfully you were not hurt. I hope you can get her put back together.
My heart just sank seeing those pics :happyhappFirday afternoon, beautiful day! Just cruising along a 2 lane highway when out of nowhere the front end of my mustang is introduced to the L/R side of a minivan that pulled out in front of me.
Nobody was hurt. Car is probably a total loss......
There is a town in Arizona that is called Nowhere, guess you'll never visit there :scratchchin :shigrinI try to stay away from Nowhere. All the people you hear about from there seems to make a habit of pulling out in front of other drivers suddenly and without warning.
I'm glad no-one was hurt. It looks like the car did its' job protecting you.I try to stay away from Nowhere. All the people you hear about from there seems to make a habit of pulling out in front of other drivers suddenly and without warning.
The estimate is UP to $9k so far and that from just what the estimator can see as the car sits. That does not include any subframe, suspension, cradle, etc etc. You can look down and see the drivers side motor mount it pushed back further than it was.Unless it tweaked the frame on that corner, and I don't think it did, that will repair for less than $9k, which won't come close to totaling the car. Hope It works out for you...
Well, given the extent of the damage to parts of the frame, cradle, pillar, etc I would rather it be totalled than fixed.I hate seeing any mustang in this state. Sorry to see, but everyone sounds ok which is most important. Question is do you want it to be totalled? Might not be a horrible thing depending on what you get for the car, and what you owed. Good luck with everything![]()

Plus I will never be able to sell it for what it should be worth.
