I'd suggest a radiator from Ford Racing, Fluidyne, Griffin, or even places like Summit or Jegs. Aluminum dissipates heat better than brass.
For the fan, I personally would go with the Black Magic 185, it pulls 3300 cfm and bolts right in. You could also go with a thin dual fan set up from a Ford Taurus.
Second on the black magic fan. Mine cools the car off real quick, especcially when moving. 3g alternator is a must though.
If you have an automatic transmission make sure you get a radiator with a trans cooler. I have a Flex-A-Lite Black Magic and a 3 core Ford Racing aluminum radiator I bought from Mustangs Unlimited. The price was reasonable and the install is easy (based on taking the old stuff out).

Wish I could tell you how they work, but I am in the tearing down process not the building up and enjoying the car process.
i have a 140 amp alt is that good to handle the fan?
A 140 is plenty to run an electric fan. I think they pull around 30 amps.

the flexlite combo will work just fine.....

140 amp alt is more than enuff.....
which is better?.......buy one of those powermaster 150/200 amp alternator, or do a 3g alternator upgrade.....
