radio resetting when I start up

sounds like a weak connection, like you said. or it could be that the battery is dying. i had to change mine 2 weeks ago and the same thing was happening to my radio. but then again, i had to get my alternator fixed. hope its just a bad connction man.

theres a chance you have your autoset feature turned on. it will seek out the strongest stations when you turn the stereo on. hit menu and look for the autoset with the up and down arrows, then use the left and right seek arrows to turn it off. just a guess
