Rattle in '05 GT Premium (Roush)...

Rattle under car

Is this noise only when the car is cold and goes away warm ?

It may be the metal plate between engine block and trans.

There are also other things in Technical Service Bulletins related to similar noises which it could be.

At this time I cannot find some of those TSBs in the list on this forum as they seem to be missing or blank.

TSB l lst talked about is 8-3-4 "Buzz, Oil Canning Noise" ( and it is missing)

If it is that problem there is an easy fix I used for it. Let me know.

when i bought my bullitt used i had a rattle that i couldn't put my finger on at 3k+ rpm at WOT, it was driving me nuts too. I brought it to the dealership and had a tech drive with me and he said that it was the exhaust pipes touching the underbody of the car. he was telling me that the only reason why it happens at WOT is because the torque of the engine/tranny slightly raises the exhaust pipes and they cause a fast past rattle for a split second. the reason why i couldnt pinpoint where the rattle was coming from was because it was resonating throughout the exhaust making it sound like it was coming from the front/firewall of the car. now i don't know how accurate this is but it doesn't effect the car, so i guess i have to believe him, hope this helps.
