Hey all, sorry for the long post:

Has anyone installed the Raxiom Puddle Lamps? I have had a set installed for a couple of years now, and loved them. Recently they both stopped working simultaneously, so I assumed a fuse was bad. After days of messing around with it, and testing every single fuse, and contacting American Muscle AND Raxiom, no solutions have been found as to why they have stopped working. I took the lights out and tested them, they're working fine. The power mirrors are working fine too, as are the map lights on the interior of the car.

Weird point to mention: If I start the car, take the plug out of the side mirror on the car, and check every pin, I get no power to any of them. However like I said, when the plug is in, the mirror works.

My questions are:

1. Does anyone know how I should proceed from here?
2. Have any of you had this problem?

I really love the lights, but now its just irritating me that I can't figure out the problem.

--------

Seemingly unrelated: My stang has LED fog lights in the grill, the ones from a GT, that the previous owner added. About a week ago, one of those stopped working. Power seems to be ok going to it as well. I feel like it should be uncommon for an LED light to go out, has anyone has this issue too?

Thanks in advance

The manual says to turn the instrument panel dimmer switch to the DOME LAMP position with the ignition off. If the Pony lights still don't work then check the SJB fuse #10 (15A). replace as necessary. If there is a DTC B106E then clear the code, cycle the dome light off then on again to reset and check if the Pony lights work.

If they still don't work then the manual goes through basic troubleshooting of circuit CLN25 which is the purple wire going from the SJB to the mirrors then checking for power and ground at the mirror connectors. With the dome lamp on, the purple wire in pin 5 of the 8-pin mirror connector should show 12V power and the wire in pin 7 (black on the left, black/yellow on the right) should show ground.

Alright, thanks for your response! I dont have a DTC B106E, the only code I have is U0401:81-0A. I cleared it and it came right back, and can't find any clues as to what the code means.

Ive checked the circuit at the mirror, no dice. The only way I know to go now is pull the entire car apart to determine where the issue is.
