What MPGs are you AUTOMATIC V6 Stangers getting in the real world ?

To a compare apples to apples, please include the following in your reply.

- Gear ratio
- Mods the would affect MPGs
- % City and % Highway
- Terrain where you drive

I get about 21 mpg (readout not manual calc) with the tune and 23 mpg when I take the tune off

Computer displays 35-37 mpg cruising on interstate at 65-70 mph
The display is usually .5-1.0 mpg less than my calculated mpg

90% City, 10% Highway, tons of traffic. I commute 20 miles to LSU every morning in construction and it takes around 45 minutes. Never able to go above 60mph, stop and go. Flat Terrain

I traded the 2011 Mustang V6 vert auto a few weeks ago. I tracked my mileage very closely. Attached is a chart of the mileage for about 23000 miles.

2.73 gears
Spare tire in trunk
80% city 20% highway
slightly hilly terrain in city

I'd call it 23 mpg city and 28-31 mpg highway.

2.73 normally about 50/50 city highway but not quite highway speeds due to traffic and such. I've been tracking it for awhile and average about 19 MPG

Oh and Geaux Tigers!! I'll probably be attending LSU next year, I'm a senior in high school:bigthumbsup

Road Terrain?

Yea, you know, flat roads, hills, mixture of both etc... Makes a huge difference in folks MPGs. :bigthumbsup

2012 V6 auto...2.73's, base 17's w/Michelin Energy savers

Mods: AirRaid CAI, Dynomax catback, custom 93 tune

Last road trip was from Jacksonville FL to Atlanta GA...hand calculated 32.29 mpg on the trip up. Mix of back roads (55-60 mph) and interstate (cruise set at 75). Return trip was more backroads/stop and go...29.76 mpg.

Daily commute isn't long enough to figure city mpg due to living 3 miles from work..lol. Have as yet to see the dash display drop below 23-24, however.

I agree my family went to lsu and i love the geaux tiger mentality there! but i usually get around town and the idiotic drivers i deal with in the dfw are around 20-21 mixed driving

2012 V6 Premium Vert with Dynomax Catback. Usually have a trunk full of golf clubs as well as my 270 lbs.

For my commute I average ~24 with some city, some suburban, some 72 MPH highway.

2 long trips so far:
CLT to ATL all highway avg 72-78 MPH hand calculated 28.8 MPG (lots of hills)
CLT to RAL all highway avg 72-78 MPH hand calculated 29.8 MPG (some hills)

Since there is no such thing as highway miles in Hawaii all I have to offer is my city MPG. I'm getting 22.2 with 3.73 gears.
