You don't have one.

It connects the rear control arms.

You can pick one up at a salvage yard for $35.00
does the sway bar make that much of a diff? :?:
does a bear **** in the woods? Best mod in my mind
does a poe poe in the woods?
Yeah the rear sway bar makes a world of difference. It keeps the back of the car flat in turns and such... Trust me on this one... I love the way mine handles now... Then again, mine's got a few extra suspension toys :)

i know roush is one of the brands which sells sway bars. i've also tried searching for one and here's what i found.. http://accessories.accessoriesgiant.com/?x=175&y=15. it's not bad for an aftermarket product unlike others that'll charge a little more.

hope this helps. :winks
I took one off from a local junk yard some years ago. It's worked and hasn't broken with ~6K rpm launches on slicks or some road racing that I've done.
I think it was like $15 at the JY ahahahahah... not bad...
so sway bars make a big diff. huh? well does my 98 V6 have one? if not, what car can i pull one off of or buy. Thanx

no, it doesn't

any NON-IRS GT or Cobra will have one you can use.
ok thanx, where would the sway bar be located and how hard is it to install (and remove from the old car). Thanx

There're two holes in each of the control arms (one may have a parking brake line).

There're two holes in the sway bar. (It should come with the bolts).

Un-hook the parking brake, bolt in the sway bar.

ok kool...so that should improve my handling?
yeah, I can corner 15-20 mph higher than without.

Suspension's still a bit soft, but given the number of miles I put on the car, I'm not addressing that until the OEMs give out.

The sway bar will also help you control the rear under launch.
sweet, im definitally gonna check the junk yards around here. Thanx
