Looking for suggestions for suspension upgrades on 1969 Mustang fastback. It is currently stock and doesn't work well. Most concerned about the front. It won't be drag raced or road raced. The motor is a 351 Windsor with a C6 transmission.

There are quite a few tricks to do that will improve it - Shelby drop, roller spring perches, better springs and shocks, bigger sway bar, etc.

Contact John of Opentracker Racing products. He's the guy who is being the creation of Roller perches as well as so other many modified suspension parts.

At least go for roller perches and idler arm. Beyond that and if you have the funds, roller lower and upper control arms, but the roller perches are the biggest bang for the buck.

Also consider doing the Shelby (Arning) drop.

Cheap upgrades are #1: export brace, #2: 1'' or 1 1/8'' front sway bar, and #3 monte carlo bar. Then you can redo all the suspension if it still feels really sloppy. Lower the car 1'' or 2'' with stiff springs and shocks and it will handle good. Shelby drop on the UCA if you feel the need for it. Sub frame connectors if you have lots of torque from your motor.

Global west is nice i have used there stuff on a few cars.If you want coilovers them and tcp are your best bets.
