No, DCAR is slightly lighter than Redfire. Almost like a mix between Torch and Redfire... With metallic flake.

Refire versus Candy Apple Red
I just bought something prepainted for my 2006 redfire. The color is slightly darker. I'm wondering if they painted it 2008 candy apple red. Can someone confirm that candy apple is darker than redfire? :headscratch:

Nope, it can't be DCAR. That color wasn't introduced until 2008. What you have is a Redfire that was maybe garaged so it has less fade.

If its not DCAR, can the color be that far off?
My car is garaged, so I expect it has little if any fade. I've got other parts painted and they matched spot on.
