It sounds like you could be talking about the A/C cutoff relay.

I own a 1988 LX 5.0.it has been in storage for a few years,but before i put in storage i had a problem with fuel pump so i wired direct pwer to relay and it would start and now i still hear pump prime,but wont start.and i am wondering what relay is mounted to passenger side front fender.Any help will be appreciated.

i dont think the a/c cutoff relay has anything to do with the fuel system..
