Hey, my windshield wipers have been out for a little while now, and I just went to replace the motor. Of course something has to be difficult, how do I take off the passenger side wiper to remove the cowl? I need to get to the wiper motor crank arm. Thanks.

It's easy, but not obvious.

Lift the wiper arm off the windshield, and there's a little "tab" down at the base of the arm that you need to pull outward away from the post, while you hold the arm up off the windshield.

If you did it right, the arm should be locked in a raised position off the windshield. Then the arm just lifts right off the post.

"Lifts right off" Theoretically yes but it can take some wrestling with sometimes if it has been on there a long time.
