I need some help on replacing batter cables for my 2003 Mustang V6. Should I get brand name? i.e. Motorcraft, or just regular batter cables? Also I'm having trouble disconecting the cables from the starter, any suggestions? or is this wrong disconection.

You should use 1/0-Gauge battery cables or welding wires. I use Taylor brand battery and ignition wires, and I think they're the hands down best.
