Check your coolant level. The light only comes on when the coolant is low.
ya...my fluid is topped off and i have been checking it....the coolant light only turns on when the car heats up or after driving the stang real hard......let me know....all info/suggestions appreciated....thanks again
Thermostat is here (pic); use a 180 degree; have seen recent thread where hose from overflow (fill) tank to radiator was crimped or clogged. Never hurts to replace radiator cap on older car. If intake is all plastic, careful not to overtighten bolts if changing thermostat and do note position of old gasket and use new one.
