I want to change the water pump on my 84 LX, the car is running a little hot, question whats the diffrence between the stock water pump that's in now and the other water pumps that say reverse rotation and will it help the car run cooler? :scratchchin

to use a reverse rotation pump you will have do a serpentine belt conversion

reverse rotation pump will not work on your car in stock configuration.....
