After switching most everything out to LED i wanted something that acted like puddle lamps. I guess this was my $10.00 alternative to a Ford ambient lighting kit. I think it adds a nice touch without being obnoxious. What do you guys think?

its nothing to get excited or angry about. the led light is fixed onto the interior door panel so when opened, the light illuminates the ground. its not anymore rice than the mycolor option. it's hard to see how effective that is in the video as well.

It really isn't on the outside. When you open the door it turns on and shines at the ground/kick plate. Then when you close it the light turns off. You can only see it when entering and exiting. Doesn't seem rice to me, but i guess everyone has their own definition. Thanks for the opinions guys. :bigthumbsup

As long as you like it thats all that matters, I just couldnt really tell from the video.

How are neon lights "race inspired" anyways lol? I always thought "rice" was referring to the import cars and how Asians, predominantly, stick spoilers and all kinds of body mods that hurt the car more than help it.

I think it would be better if they turned OFF when the door opened and ON when you closed it. Personally.
