I have a rebuild set of 351 heads that I am using. They have new valves and everything but were rebuilt with the same original style screw in studs.

I want to run roller rockers and I have a set of pedestal mount Comp 1.6:1 rollers that were given to me

I know its unorthadox but can you run these roller rockers on the original studs? I don't have a radical lift cam and they are stock valve springs so I'm not worried about the studs coming out. I am just wondering if anyone has done this and has had success or if I am just dreaming here

The pedistal mount rockers won't work with studs. It's a totally different set up.
