All of the above. Depends on the area of where you are and how big and bad the rusted area is. I am partial to the wire wheel though. I have heard stories of people having media falling out of their car for years after blasting.
I purchased a sand blaster from Summit Racing the other day and it made quick clean up of my spindles. I was using a wire brush and wheel, sand paper of various grits, and a grinding wheel. What would take me half an hour to do now takes me like 5 minutes. If you are in a financial bind, stick with the way that's most affordable to remove the rust. I used sand paper and wire until I got the money together and did my research on what would take care of my needs right now. What is the best way to remove rust? Soda blasting, sand blasting, wire wheel, chemical, drive till it falls off?
What works the best?
