They were/are Lyscholm twin-screw superchargers.

What the hell happened with Steve losing control of his own company? Did he sell out, and then buy it back?

What's the base engine for his 351CID engine.

It was a big hooplah that lasted a few years. Basically he was ousted by the board then bought it back as a private company, if memory serves. There should be a lot about that online.

Nobody knows what the base engine is. The guys over on S197forum are thinking the 5.4/5.8 Shelby as the base engine.

My wild guess is that the price is probably going to be $10K more than a shelby...

I think that is what the current S302 is going for, I'd say this car is $80k+.

I still think the Shelby is a much better looking car, it would be interesting to see a road test with both cars.

351ci and 700hp is not very far from the 2013 GT500. That is basically a tune only for the Shelby. For all we know this could be based off that car though honestly I doubt it. To take the Shelby name off the car and put Saleen would be wrong and I think Steve has enough respect for Carrol.

I love the functional butterfly hood that they had at techco. Don't like the price but love the concept.
