Saleen Grill for V6 Pony package?

1936 Views 8 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Colonel Kurtz
Does anyone know a way to place the roush/saleen grille on a v6 Pony package, without doing the swap to a GT bumper.
Ive seen somewhere this being done before on here, but i cant find the post under search.
If anyone has a walkthru, and the price in doing so... and maybe some pros and cons if any :bigthumbsup

Thanks!

Here is a listing for the Roush Ebay grille for the V6 with valance. I think it fits better than the Saleen grille.

It would still need to be heavily modified like the saleen to fit the v6 bumper. The roush is for the gt bumper.

Its not hard to do, been done..... just some trimming but its not worth it, just go for one designed for the V6's surround.

And yea, i looked at the step by step guidelines above and it didnt seem worth the time. I might as well upgrade to hids and make the car more efficient.

Thanks to all tho

I wouldn't say it's not worth it at all. If you understand power tools it's easy. If your afraid to get your hands dirty or turn a wrench, then maybe a 5 second grill swap is your ticket.
