I read in another thread about a short throw shifter block. I have an '06 automatic V6. Can someone please explain to me what it is and how it works? Thanks.
It is an "extention" that bolts to the bottom of the shift rod. You lengthen the rod on the bottom end where the shifter bolts to the linkage, which in turn changes the pivot point, thus causing a shorter shift.
