Dayum! That's going to be sweet. Totally diggin that, you gotta post your numbers afterwards (we'll all be interested).
Yo Thanks Dudes :drink:

Forgot to Mention ..Going with 3.73 gears from ford racing...Power Surge is doing the install & 9/7 is the quickest they can start ..I will most definately post #'s as soon as it's dyno'd & will try to get out to Englishtown or somewhere to get some times....Holding off on Long Tube headers & Bassani X-Pipe until I get RWHP #'s ...I hope to break 400 rw..& may boost it up to 8lbs . Ultimate Goal is 450 RW ...but will be happy at 400 & above. If I go with Long Tubes will just go with Off road X Pipe (No cats) until inspection time.

Can't wait to ice the factory shift pattern & :madas: throttle lag.

best part will be wasting the unsuspecting bavarians & assorted vettes. :smoke:

& OH yeah will break down & add some hood struts too

Will keep ya all posted..Cheers !
Awesome man!! I'm envious as hell!!
That SC looks finger licking good.
**** I just realized - 9/7 is only a week and a half away

Thanks Dawg :drink:
I wonder where that casting was poured. I was at Saleen's anniversary party today in Irvine and they don't pour any iron there. What did the box say? Maybe Mexico. I hope not China.

I thought they were made in the same factory as most others (KB, Whipple, etc.) in Switzerland or was it Austria...???
I am in AWE.....

I *want* one!!!

Of course, it will take some time to scratch together the five large... DAMN you must be EXCITED AS HELL!!!

:worship :worship :worship

Can't wait to see how the SC mod turns out! Keep me (us) posted, because I too want that SC unit and can't wait to try it out.

Well was checkin on the cars progress today, unfortunately the 39lb injectors haven't arrived so the blower install is delayed :sosad:

Luckily the red line hood struts weren't installed. Decided to change to MRT's so as not to have to drill holes..will probably get the bracket powder coated , not crazy about the stainless look.

Anyway while there I popped a few pics of Sal's Car...He had the Saleen name ground out of the S/C, painted/coated & had SVT Tags mounted ...Looks pretty cool , Pics are a bit lame..bad lighting. Here goes though.

I have it all, and some more... in a huge box... but can't install due to other people and I guess in part Katrina... :sosad:
CAI with Supercharger

Hello,
My name is Casper. I recently had a Saleen 475 hp Supercharger installed in my 2007 Mustang GT. I am running a tune from Brenspeed for the supercharger due to the one from Saleen was pretty lame.
I noticed in your pictures that you are running a CAI unit. What brand is it. I have the MAF housing that I used on my C&L CAI and the filter, and would like to know if I can use these on my setup without any problems? I am currently using the upgrade tube and Saleen upper air box lid with the bottom of the air box cut out.I do not have room for the C&L Street intake tube, for it hits my hood. But I would really like to use the C&L MAF housing and filter for better air intake. Would it create a problem using these two items? Remember, I am running a tune from Brenspeed and I am not sure if I can use those items. Brent is out of town and so I can not ask for his advise right now.
I would really appreciate any help you all can give me.

Thanks,
Casper
Wow, resurrecting a 2+ year old thread. LOL.
Saleen SC

How did you dyno? Im running in circles of what to do next; cams/no2, sc, turbo....

My MAIN goal is to keep the car enjoyable, not miserable on the street...

How does the Saleen feel on the street, in traffic??
