I went to the movies with some friend and when I got back to my car apparently we had a sandstorm followed by some rain.

one time it rained muddy water here, looked about the same as whats on your car.
I probably woulda screamed like a girl and floored it to the nearest car wash.
How do you clean the rear window with that louver on it?
Dont feel bad my car looks like that and it was in the garage with the garage door down. I walked out this morning and was like WTF!!! I call that the Cheetah paint job.
Looks almost like volcano ash. Did you guys have a fire geyser and not tell anyone??:shigrin

If I came out to see my 'stang like that, I think I would die....

But a sandstorm and then rain? Man, I'm glad I don't live out west... The only storms we get here in Georgia are thunderstorms and mosquito storms :winks
I hope #1fordlover misses those pictures, he would die. even worse if his car ever looked like that, he'd open a vein and bleed out.

sure hope there was no damage.

was the movie good?

LOL, the instant I saw this topic I knew you were from around here. Looks like you were at the AMC, right? Those lights in the background of pic 2 don't look right for the Harkins.

My car was in the driveway, which is rather well protected compared to a wide open parking lot, so I didn't get it as bad. Here's what mine looks like right now (pics left big):

Yeah it was something to walk out into, I saw transformers 3 and i really enjoyed the movie. I wasnt to upset that it was dirty more of a huge disapointment. I knew at the time there was nothing i could do so i just sucked it up and when home since it was about 1130 at night.

To wash the lovers i just take them off then put them back on.

It was at the AMC in tempe market place

that will mess up a paint job! holy crap, did you wash off with power washer first before car wash?
car wash brushs+sand on car=MAJOR swirl marks! :nono:
So far all i have had time for is just to spray it down with the hose, im not gonna tuch it with a brush or sponge or anything untill im sure most of it is off. Im mostly worried about messing up the vinyl more then it already is.

The storm it self they said was about 3 to 4 thousand feet high.

there is a video on this page of the storm
