Hey guys what are the benefits and down falls to upgrading to a set of aftermarket rear lca's. considering this to be my next mod. Thanks...
Those Steeda LCAs look good! I installed the Steeda upper control arm a while ago and noticed a huge improvement in how responsive the rearend felt. The stock rubber bushing on the UCA is huge and soft. I just replaced my Brembo/Gt500 LCAs this weekend with adjustable Eibach LCAs because the left rear tire was about 3/4" forward of the right one. I haven't been able to test it much because it has been raining but now when the tires break loose the car tends to go straight rather then slide to the right. I doubt I'll see much difference in performance beyond the ability to dial in the angle of the rear axle. The Brembo LCAs seem pretty good.
Any plans for a XMAS sale? I missed the Black Friday 20% one. Here is a video that we did that will provide you with more information and show the benefits of the LCA.
Let me know if I can help you with pricing or answer any further questions?

I've heard it both ways. Some say it has the GT500 control arm, some say it's the same as the regular GT. :im confused:I keep hearing about wheel hop, and I've never experienced it! :bigthumbsup
I realize that some GT500 parts are used on my Brembo package, but I'm not sure exactly what they are. I saw a table somewhere, that listed the spring data between stock, Brembo and Track Pack, but I don't recall anything regarding the control arms.
Is it the whole control arm (non-adjustable, so far as I know) that the Brembo has in common with the GT500?
Curious...
We are running a holiday promotion right now actually, 5% off and free shipping on Steeda manufactured parts. Give me a call at (954)960-0774 if there is anything I can help you with.Any plans for a XMAS sale? I missed the Black Friday 20% one.
Ok so here is my list so far:
Steeda billet aluminum lac's with urethane bushings:$279.00
Steeda adjustable uca urethane bushing: $179.95
Steeda Upper Chassis Mount For Upper 3rd Link: $129.95
Bmr bolt in relocation brackets:$154.95
That should sure up my rear end!!!
Am I right about this? If I' m going to get relocation brackets for my already lowered car then it's not necessary to get an "adjustable " uca because the multiple adjustments on the relocation bracket will adjust for the correct pinion angle right?
Yes, the rear (non-adjustable) LCA's are identical to those used on the GT500.I keep hearing about wheel hop, and I've never experienced it! :bigthumbsup

If I were getting relocation brackets, I would DEFINITELY get adjustable components. You're doing a major overhaul in geometry so you're going to want the parts to complement that.
This:bigthumbsup, I doubt it will change the pinion angle, but it will allow you to put a higher load on the rear axle and increase the amount weight transfer to the rear to assist with launching. Careful, I noticed that after adding the RELO's my wheel hop returned, with the car lowered, there was not enough traction/weight for the hop to occur, but with the relo's, it's back to stock levels:banghead:.The relocation brackets actually help restore the rear end geometry that is changed by lowering.
