Hello all, quick question for you. I have about a 2 inch scratch on one of my stripes. Blue car with black stripes. It looks white but it is a definite scratch. any idea what I can use to bring it back? Thanks all.
Theres no bringing it back. You have to find a shop which installs stripes or wraps. This shop has to have the access to the same manufacturer as the stripes on your mustang otherwise the color, the shade, the luster, will be slightly different. FFind out from Ford which manufacturer they used with your car if they say they used multiple manufacturers try to find out which ones specific and get a specific color, black #013 for instance, you do not want different colors, and black isn't always black, trust me I've been there but mine are silver. If the shop has the color instock the costs of replacement are little to none its a very fast process to take the old one off and replace with the new, and its wise to let them do the work they know how to get the old one off nicely and quick, if you try to do it yourself you'll see that the old adhesive sticks to the paint and its a bugger to get off, been there done that, never again. If this shop doesn't have access to your manufacturer as them which shop does, hopefully they will tell you. I had a shop tell me they don't deal with that manufacturer but they can certainly order in a roll of it at $1000.00 a roll, a roll is like 500 feet by 3ft wide. I was going to be responsible for the $1000.00 for my little 5 feet, I don't think so.Hello all, quick question for you. I have about a 2 inch scratch on one of my stripes.
