I purchased an SCT tuner and Free bama tunes for life through american muscle and a Airaid CAI off of the classifieds here. After installing the Tune to my car I have noticed surges of power in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear (when the car is cold). This never happened before the tune. I have gone through the relearning process for the idle and it calmed it down a little but it is still there. Please let me know if you have gone through the same trouble, and what you have done to fix the issue.

Get with bama to look at your tunes, and make adjustments as needed.

Calimustang2011,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue your experiencing. From what I gather it sounds like you're running the Airaid CAI with the insert but the tune is for the Airaid CAI without the insert (which is most common) and could cause surging. Our tunes are good 99% of the time. Occasionally there are errors because we hand write each tune. I'm confident my Bama team will fix it quickly! Majority of the time, its Small human error when filing your tune information form or by a Bama Member!

Either way we can definitely get your tune spot on. Shoot me a PM with your order number included and I'll have my head tuning specialist Mike Wilson contact you directly!

Hang in there, You'll be enjoying your tunes in no time! We appreciate your business and patience.
