If I buy an unlocked tuner from someone, can I get the Free Custom Tunes from Bama on AM? It will let me order it, but will they just not make a tune for me (or charge me $150) since I didn't buy my tuner from them?
My uncle sold his F150, so I bought it from him for $50...I guess it should work with my car.I believe they will want to charge you $150 to be entered into the free tunes for life program. You have to have a member number to order a free tune.
Where did you buy the tuner from?

Thanks for all the info. Once I get my next paycheck I might do that.Chertelendy,
We can definitely hook you up with the free tunes for life. However like said earlier in the thread, there's two ways into our free tunes program. All customers who purchase the device through us are automatically enrolled or you can buy into the program for a one time fee of $150!
That SCT SF3 should work fine on your car. The F150 and Mustang have the same OB2 port so all you'll need is tunes! Give the Bama team a call and they'll get you squared away. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

Yes, it's unmarriedNow on to some more questions that may be important. Did your uncle return his truck to the stock tune before giving you the tuner and selling the truck? If not, the tuner will still be married to the truck and won't work on your car. You'll have to call up SCT and see if they can unlock the tuner for you. There may be a fee for doing so.
