Ok, its finally time for me to order my tuner :bounce2: I just had a few questions about the tuner from AM. So what true gains am i seriously going to get? I have a CAI, BBK Throttle Body, Flowmaster duals, and a couple other small things. Also, can i run 87 octane on the performance tune? Id like to just keep 93 octane on the race tune. And i see theres another tuner from AM, same thing but it says "preloaded" . Thanks for the help, and if theres any other things you think i should know then let me know, i cant wait to ordder this thing! :grinroll:

Tuner's are awesome, but they yield the best performance from automatics by changing shift points giving you harder faster shifts. Yes you can run an 87 Performance tune, I would say for gains you might see 5-7 HP max. It's not much but it's noticeable.

The preloaded comes with no custom tunes from us and has to be set up by the end-user(you). You basically go through and set all the parameters yourself.

As for what performance you will see, that will depend where you're located and what octane you're running. If you run 87 octane and use an 87 performance tune, with those parts you will likely see about 12-20whp. On 93 race, that would be closer to 20+whp

You don't want a preloaded tuner, you want the tuner with 3 free customer tunes that I posted a link of:bigthumbsup
