So I brought my car to the full service wash because I mucked up the floor mats and she needed a vacuuming anyway. I left the car wash and just got out of the car and I saw that my door sill was all scuffed up, most likely from the idiot with the vacuum dragging the hose across it. Before that, my interior was spotless and unscathed. Any suggestions on how to get the scuff marks out without replacing the whole door sill? I would like to go back and beat the guy with his vacuum hose, but aside from making me feel better that won't fix it.

Try some vinyl cleaner or a little Simple Green and a damp towel.

Try a product called Novus. You want #2 in the red and white bottle. It is sold at Harley shops to remove scratches from plexi windshields. It is magic! Removed scratches from body panels too. I use it on pinball machines during restoration.

I have seen it remove pretty ugly scratches.
