Hey guys i just used seafoam in my 2000 v6
Man what a difference it made, she is running like new and oh so smooth. no more lifter ticking better idle , feels like a new engine LOL

The ticking will return, its a nasty side effect of ethanol . Both my wifes Taurus, and the 98 GT are having that nasty ping unless theres a can of seafoam in it. Also check out the uses for sea foam on you tube or their site. Pretty cheap way to clean out carbon, and sludge in your car.

he probably means it in a bad way.. in some cases people ruin their engines because it messes with the lubrication abilities of the oil

You also never know when all that "gunk" in the engine is holding a bearing in.

sounds like seafoam is a risk that can go to either extreme.

if you have a low mileage fairly clean engine, you wont have to deal with that
