what about the fuel sending unit do i run a negative wire from the sending unit to the gauge or a positive. where do i find wiring diagrams on here? sorry im new to this site, i do appreciate your help

can anyone please tell me how to wire my sending unit? i dont know if i run a wire from my sending unit to power then to the gauge or how it works.

the guy i bought the car from cut wire and ran them every else besides where they are suppose to go. so can i run a wire from the sending unit to power to the gauge?
