Hey. I have a 1986 5.0, I am trying to get the fuel pressure set. I have an adjustable FPR. I hooked up the gauge and it read around 40-42 at idle. I was told that it should read around 18 at idle and only go up to around 32 when I rev it up. Mine only climbs about 4 or so psi with a rev, is this right? I turned it down to about 32 at idle, and the car runs better, but it still seems to be running rich. Should I set it to 32 at idle with the vacuum hose on the FPR or 32 without the hose on there?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Try the 32 psi setting for now and see how it runs. Best thing to do would be to run it up to redline, and then shut it off an immediately pull the plugs to read them. But if it runs good at 32 psi, leave it there. Shouldn't really go below that.
