:waveyI have a Shaker 500 and I do not have the money to upgrade to a new head unit at this time. But My friend gave me a 1200 watt Sub (10" spl) and a amp. I have put in subs before in cars with upgraded head units. Can somebody in detail tell me where to hook up The remote wire and the High output wires? And what does it take to hook them up?Do I have to take the head unit out, and if how? Will I have to run them to the head unit or is there a easyer faster way? Please please help me!!

Mark, Where were you going to put your sub at? Are you planning to keep your factory amps to power the rest of the radio? For example, I have the shaker 500 head unit and it is powered by Scosche amps. My factory amps are disconected, But I left them in their location. I have a mono amp to power the 12inch Scosche sub box in the trunk. A two channel amp to power my factory 8inch door subs. And a four channel amp to power my four 5x7's. I need to know a little more of what you want to do, in order to help you?
ok

I Have a 10" sub in a box and a 1000 watt amp. (dont worry, The sub can hit at 1200 peak so I wont break it). Im going to put them in my trunk. I do not have the shaker 1000, so I DO NOT Have the factor amp in my car. Can I hook my Amp to the speakers in the back deck? And Where do I Hook my remote wire to? Picture would help alot too....

The Shaker 500 has amps also to power the 2 door subs.
