working on a leather shift boot and need to know the thread rod size for the hole on the top. check out this sweet padded leather armrest cover thats out for the SN95 already.

Pretty sure it's 1/2" diameter, so if you make the hole 5/8" or maybe 9/16" it should fit perfect.

hmm, it needs to be snug so it wont slide down the shaft. we made one up with a 3/8 hole, looks close to the oem boot, but the old boot we had was trashed. maybe i can find replacement knobs somewhere to get a size. we have 2 s197`s so that doesnt help. the hole in the leather will stretch some.

i`m still looking for someone with a new edge that has the e brake boot that might be in bad shape and i`ll make a deal for a new leather boot
