Ok I finally made a video of the problem that I have with my mustang. Its a popping noise every time I go to neutral fro a gear and then release the clutch. I dont know what it is but hopefully one of you will and tell me what's wrong with it. I will really appreciate you suggestions. Please help me out so I can fix this noise. I have changed the fluid already by the way.

I might be wrong but I hear alot of squeaking going on. Try turning the pleather upper shift boot 180 deg. It may not seem like it but it fits better one way over the other. Also inspect the lower shift boot.

The square base of the shifter boot unclips, and the rubber grommet on the shifter stick slides up, rotate 180 and replace.

I also cut the rubber boot I little bit so it is completely out of the way of the stick and pushed it down over the base of the shifter, I'll try to get a pic of it on here. It made a noticeable difference.
