how would you compare the shocks(stock) from a mustang to the average sedan? i'm used to driving cars like buicks or say a Taurus, i know a mustang is a sports car and there is a difference but is my car supposed to feel rough when i drive on regular roads? i can feel every lil bump even the ones you can barely see...is this supposed to be or would i need new shocks?

Yes bad shocks will give you a horrible ride. Your shocks are most likley done for, as well as your strut mounts. What milage is on the car, If your getting to the 125k+ mark the spings can start to sag, so if your looking to replace them you might want to pick up struts , mounts , and some springs (optional).

It could be a good Idea to inspect your supsension also, as you could also have some bad bushings , you should check for solid connections at the control arms , shocks, sway bars, steering joints. Get down there and tug on things, they should all be solid and not mobile in the bushings.
