Trying to do some quick affordable mods and was wondering if I need to change the plenum with the throttle body ? Is there an advantage in doing so ?This looks like a very easy do it yourselfer. Also would I need to do any retuning after the swap ? Sorry for the basic questions but I am a mod rookie. Thanks!

Yes, it most definitely is a quick and easy do it yourselfer. The biggest gains you will see will be in throttle response and possibly in gas milage and not raw power. The power gains of those mods are only about 5-7 if done together. If you're looking for good power gains, try an aftermarket exhaust or if you're really aching for more get up and go, gears.

Together is better for small gain. I'd change plenum first before T/B if doing one at a time.

The MAC & BBK plenums are the cheapest. The Ford 70mm T/B is good quality.
Mods are cumulative and Bluestreak correct, as usual, in suggesting there's more 'oomph' available in GEARS and quality exhaust mods.

This may be helpful over the course of modding your car:

plenum and throttle body

I will go ahead and change both. How is Accufab ? I was also planning on doing a Borla or SLP Loudmouth II for my exhaust. Borla is a little extra but I have heard they are better than SLP ? Thanks for the input it is appreciated.
