I have a very sick little '65 on my hands. Rough idle->rough running->backfiring->mechanical pinging (within the course of one afternoon). I'm in training down here and don't have the time/tools to get the job done right myself so I'm trying to find a shop that'll be able to account for the non-stock engine. Do you guys have any suggestions on a local mechanic who could get her right? Otherwise she'll be garaged until I can get her back to my Dad's shop in California.
