A new SJB has to be reprogrammed with special tools. A used unit may also require reprogramming, since it's programmed for the electronic options of the vehicle it came from.
If you do not have access to any of these special tools, then suggest having it done either by a dealer$hip, or by an automotive electronics specialty shop.
