How long does it take the DMV to recieve a passing smog check?

It is instantaneous. The station's computer is linked to the DMV. Your certificate is electronically submitted as soon as it passes.

Yup, just had my other car and truck done (at different times). Right after passing smog, I high-tailed it to AAA (2 miles down the road) and got them registered. No problems and they was in the system. :bigthumbsup
