ok, I am removing the somp pump on my '91 gt. What is the best way to plug the piping that T's off to the back of each head? Or is there someone that makes a plug that goes directly on the heads so I can just remove the piping all together?

Why remove the smog pump? Your engine was designed to use it. I still have all my emissions equipment and safely make in the 475hp range. The emissions test we take here in NJ baffles them cause they don't think it should pass. It's quite amusing to watch them scratch their heads on why it passes. It really uses no power to operate.

There are no emission laws in montana and I would like to A...get rid of some un-needed cluter and B...I race auto cross so any weight loss in the front end is worth it!:smirk is there a way to use a shorter belt and keep everything turning the right direction so I dont have to spend $80 on a delete pully?
