So i just changed my valve cover gaskets, i had to pull out to upper intake manifold to get close to the rockers. I changed the gasket that sits between the upper intake and the lower intake while doing this as well.

Now initially i had forgotten to put back the pcv pipe into the lower intake connection that it goes to. I pulled the intake again and fixed this.

When i run the engine for a minute or more i see smoke from the sides of the rockers. Any ideas?

Not sure I understand what you mean about smoking from the sides of the rockers. Where is the smoke coming from? Is it actual smoke or does it stink?

You probably have some oil on your headers. Give it some time for the oil to burn off, and then check back with us if it doesn't go away.
