So I took the stang out today to see if I fixed a minor transmission problem. Mostly leaky return line and low fluid.

So I would be driving and then I would get on it, wide open throttle, and at the top end of 2nd and third gears I'd get smoke from the exhaust and it would come inside the cabin. WTF is this? Never had this problem before.

It doesn't smell like oil burning. And its not when driving regularly. Just when I get on it. Its a white smoke, but not like burning coolant white.

I know for a fact that the AOD trans is bad and OD doesn't work, it just slips into neutral.

Any thoughts? Am I screwed? :headscratch: :weeps:mad:

Are you sure it's coming out of the pipes, or out from under the car? I had a tranny line pop off a couple of months ago and burning tranny fluid looks white and comes straight out of the back. It'd be easy to think it's coming from the pipes. The tranny might be leaking due to the higher pressures generated when you get on it and getting on the pipes, burning it off.
