I am a former Sebring convertible owner (traded in for my 2007 GT/CS). It is a nice classy cruising convertible, which is good. But, modifying one is almost like modifying a Buick Park Avenue. What was this guy thinking? :headscratch:

the 3.0 V6 is THE SAME IDENTICAL MOTOR THAT COMES IN THE ECLIPSE GT same exact motor.... same tranny oh and its lighter... thats why he was able to mod it, now the other sebrings now you can't modify those! well im sure you could but WHY?

Why not just use the money for the s/c and the trade in of your current mustang for a '99-'04 GT. I've been in your boat before....modding the less powerful model just so that you run even with a stock car, it feels great....until you find the car that has a couple bolt ons and still runs away from you. Then you are just left with the sucky feeling of putting all that time and money into a car and still lose to a lightly modded version of the same car. There's so much more satisfaction and fun when you mod something that is already fast!
