Recently My car started blowing hot air instead of A/C my first thought was refrigerant levels so I went to put some it and noticed that the compressor clutch wasnt engaging. So I then used a jumper to jump the pressure switch and see if my clutch was bad. The clutch engaged so I know thats not the problem. the Problem i have is when I measure the refrigerant pressure with gauges without the jumper and without the compressor engaging the pressure is super high (in the read levels of the gauge almost near 100psi) But when I measure the pressure with the jumper in and the clutch engaging the psi read low (around 14 psi) So I dont know weather to go to a mechanic and have them let some refrigerant out... or put more in? Any tips, thanks!

Sounds like it needs some gas-you got to put enough in-for the clutch to come on-if it takes a can or two.to do this.then you may have a leak-a ac mechanic.would have a leak detector.
