Someone's gettin New Rims!

Well I was on my way to work the other morning on a county highway and I noticed they were in the process of fixing an annoying bump at the bottom of this hill. There was no construction signs and no bump signs and no one still working there so i figured it was safe to hit at 55...wrong. it rocked me pretty good. I instantly felt sick..

so i was doin some on-road diagnostics lol and the car was still driving straight with little or no vibrations. I get out to look at the damage when I get to town and see that both rims on the right side are bent. Bad. The front one wasnt as bad but it needed replacing... ugh

Well long story short the county is sending me a check for 740 bucks! Suckers.. I told em the tires were ruined as well. HA! so I'm gettin 2 10.5's for the rear with new tires and rotating the left rear (good rim and tire) to the front right. so im gettin new rims! and wen the front tires get wore out ill put the others on there!:bigthumbsup

check is in the mail already haha. im not worried about small town iowa county gettin on mustang forums.. and the rims were bent as a result of their poor work ethic. they will be just fine payin me, dont tell me you guys would do different

you ever think about the stress put on the tires wen they are pinched like that between the tire and road? better safe than sorry. i dont see wat the fuss is about

ya ur right... they do a piss poor job on the roads and a piss poor job going about fixing it and I should pay for my repairs.. that makes total sense now that I think of it

politicians these days are only out for their own gain, hell our own federal government does not give a rats @$$ what the ppl want because politicans have their own corrupt agendas..... so with that in mind (as well as high taxes that should pay for roads and not bail out money for fat cats) I salute you tomkatt for sticking one to the man
