You can't do blower and CAI... all blowers come with the tubing and filter(-s)...Hal900x said:OK, I'm sick of playing make-believe on the forums. Time to pull the trigger. Thinking a PD blower, snow intercooling, CAI and more...possibly a stroker kit with forged internals to mate with high boost. Anyone have experience with Installers/Tuners in the SoCal area? I'm in Santa Barbara, so somewhere between here and LA (including LA) would be ideal. Searching for affiliated dealers, I found Swanson Performance, have had one recommendation for him so far but don't know if he has any experience with the '05.
Well, that's not precisely true...the Saleen blower is compatible with a few CAIs out there, and if I recall correctly, works with the stock intake. I know you can pair it with the WMS CAI, for example. But, to address your second point, it has an integrated intercooler so if I went with that one, no Snow. I think if the kit I end up with includes the cooler, I'll skip the Snow. But looking at dollars to horsepower, getting a non-intercooled blower and adding the Snow makes good sense.kj_cinci said:You can't do blower and CAI... all blowers come with the tubing and filter(-s)...
A Snow system with a good (cooled!) blower might be overkill, prolly not too much more to gain...???
Forged internals will be a must with a blower and a Snow kit, or boosts in the two digit range... Heads (valves and springs at least), block with pistons and a stromg bottom I think...
Good luck! Let us know what you decide on!
