Southern Ca Tuners?
OK, I'm sick of playing make-believe on the forums. Time to pull the trigger. Thinking a PD blower, snow intercooling, CAI and more...possibly a stroker kit with forged internals to mate with high boost. Anyone have experience with Installers/Tuners in the SoCal area? I'm in Santa Barbara, so somewhere between here and LA (including LA) would be ideal. Searching for affiliated dealers, I found Swanson Performance, have had one recommendation for him so far but don't know if he has any experience with the '05.

A Snow system with a good (cooled!) blower might be overkill, prolly not too much more to gain...???
Forged internals will be a must with a blower and a Snow kit, or boosts in the two digit range... Heads (valves and springs at least), block with pistons and a stromg bottom I think...

Well, that's not precisely true...the Saleen blower is compatible with a few CAIs out there, and if I recall correctly, works with the stock intake. I know you can pair it with the WMS CAI, for example. But, to address your second point, it has an integrated intercooler so if I went with that one, no Snow. I think if the kit I end up with includes the cooler, I'll skip the Snow. To be honest I have not seen the Saleen unit myself and it is posible. I will for example use my CAI MAF for my Vortech, maybe even the filter...
Cooled is good, I wanted a CF SC so I looked more at that, no room for the stock intake infront of those... the cooled Vortech was only a few 100 more for me so it was easy, I'm sure a complete Snow system is more than that, plus you have to keep it 'fueled' so one would be back to the whole NOS thing... just my opinion...
