Spark Plug Advice

Hey there ..

I'm new to doing my own work and did my first oil, and oil filter change (yes I know woopty doo!! :happyhapp) :gringreen but its a good feeling afterwards when the car feels that little bit more loved ... anyhoo I'm doing the ignition next and looking at spark plugs want to get the Bosch Platinum+4 plugs they are about 7 bucks a pop .. the next inline are 13 or 16 a pop and that gets a little pricey (Platinum IR Fusion's) -- does it make that much different to have spendy plugs ?? or does any one have any favorites they like to use ??

Also went with a K&N oil filter, was getting my mechanic to pop a Ford Motor sport one on but read some good reviews on the K&N's

cheers

i use a basic Autolite plug, low cost and dependable.
i use Autolite AP25's, they're the best i've ever used and i've tried a few ;)
I don't know if this is best but I just go down to the Ford dealer and get Motorcraft OEM plugs. They fire as good as any fancy plug does if you're running a basically stock engine. Platinum plugs are supposed to last longer but I change my plugs every 20,000 no matter what so for me there's no point in going platinum.

For our cars, it's best to stick with copper, it just seems to perform better. Those high dollar plugs aren't of any real benefit to such an engine, you're just wasting money. Stick with Autolites.
